Jetty brings love and joy to many elderly people a week. We are so thankful that dad Maynard is delighted to chauffeur Jetty to and from his visits.
Jetty achieved his CD (companion dog) in three straight tries (never out of the ribbons) with a High in Trail as a bonus on his 2nd leg on February 2nd, 2008. No doubt this was just the beginning for Maynard and Jetty and we couldn't have been prouder.
We are so excited that Jetty earned a second HIT (High in Trial) at the Sandlapper Specialty on April 27th, 2008 from the Open class!!! We just couldn't be prouder of this team. Jetty is a repeat breeding of "Destin" Am. Ch. Steadmor's Destined For Questan.
Maynard has a way with his dogs and like Jetty's predecessors, Keeper and Woody, Maynard finds a way to become one with his dogs and it shows in the devotion they show him in and out of the ring.
I believe that of all Jetty's accomplishments we are most proud of what he does outside of the ring. Along with Maynard Jetty participates in therapy work visiting nursing homes a couple of times a week. The joy and comfort he brings to others during these visits is what being 'Golden' is all about. We are so happy that like his mother Ally, he impacts so many who without his golden grin and wagging tail may not have smiled that day.
Jetty is owned by Maynard Davis and co-owned by Jacqueline Morasco.
