Eureka

Eurie is a so much like her mother Brinkley in looks, personality and mischievous antics. She carries a full coat, has a lovely head, strong pigment and is as pretty moving as she is standing. Eureka is one of the 5 girls from the 'SEWING' litter that was born to Reno x Brinkley.

Eureka lives with her 2 other golden buddies, Frasier, also known as PF for perfect fit since he knows how to walk up to you and get his head in just the right place so you HAVE to pet him and Murphy (sometimes called Smurphy) who at first was a little put off that he wasn't going to be the 'puppy' anymore but now loves the little show off more than anything.

They all live with Sissy Terry (Teresa Peace DVM and Bubba Wes) who keep them in top condition by walking the cow fields (where there are warm green things to roll in), going down to the pond for a dip (where there is green slime to condition your coat with) and cleaning up in the water trough (where you try to leave all the green stuff you picked up earlier) before curling up in the house with the kitties and humans to watch a little TV.

Eureka picked up her first 2 points by going WB and BW under Ms. Kathy A. Forbes at the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club show on April 5th, 2008. Thank you to Judge Ms. Forbes for finding our little gem in the 12-18 class, one week after her 1st birthday, owner/breeder handled!
She picked up her next 2 points by again going WB/BW at the Virginia Beach Kennel Club - Sunday 11/02/2008 under judge Dr. Klause Anselm out of the bred by class.
Our 3 days in Fredericksburg couldn't have been better with a reserve under Mr. Stephen J. Hubbell on Friday 01/09/2009, WB under Mrs. Christina Hubbell on Saturday 01/10/2009 and on Sunday 01/11/2009 WB/BW under Mrs. Lee Canalizo.
Once again we had a great time in Fredericksburg in 2010.
On January 14, 2010 Eureka Picked up 2 more points under Mr. James R. White by going WB/BW out of the bred by class.
Then again on January 16, 2010, Mrs.Robert S Forsyth awarded Eurie WB for another 2 points.
We would like to once again thank all these judges for the lovely wins all owner/breeder handled.
Now we just have to hunt up those pesky little majors.

We are excited to say that team Eurie had a great National. With mom Terry as bather, co-breeder Julie as groomer and myself as handler Eureka strutted her stuff to first (1st) place in the 15-18 month SWEEPS class at the 2008 GRCA National Specialty. We couldn't be happier that Judge Wayne Miller found our 'needle in a haystack' in that lovely group of bitches and were thrilled with the ringside support and compliments we received on her.
Eureka (Steadmor's Needle 'N' A Haystack) is co-owned by Teresa Peace DVM, Wes Peace, Jacqueline Morasco and Julie Keilts.
