Am/Can CH. Steadmor's Uptown Girl
Brinkley (named for the stunning Christy Brinkley) has been a dream come true.  She started out quite the little star with a BOB at her first match at the tender age of 12 weeks over 20 other Golden puppies followed by 3 Best Puppy in Matches.

Brinkley was shown only a few times in Canada and came home with several big wins including several Best Puppy In Group's, a Best of Breed from the puppy class, and a Group 4th.  Brinkley completed her Canadian Championship with a 5 point major.

One of Brinkley's most memorable highlights was when she placed in a HUGE 9-12 month class at the Golden Retriever National Specialty 2003 (Sept.17, 2003).

Despite the fact that I was at the end of her lead, Brinkley completed her American Championship after taking a 2 year break to whelp and raise 2 litters.

Brinkley, like her brother, has a wonderful headpiece.  She has lovely structure and uses it to show off an outstanding side gate with plenty of reach and drive.  She stands 21 1/2 inches at the shoulder with a correct coat.  She is energetic and can easily go all day long be it retrieving, swimming or running yet knows how to turn it on and off in an instant.  She is the best snuggler and an easy trustworthy housedog. We would like to thank Dawn Massey of Newport Goldens for allowing us to incorporate Michael (Am. CH Newport's Get Off My Cloud OS), sire of the #1 Golden Retriever in 2007, (Ch. Easthill Broxden the Fig Is Up SDHF) into our breeding program!
